Andrew Werdine

Andrew began his career with the Axis Group in 2013 as an Assistant Account Manager where he supported the team of Account Managers with various operations such as client on-boarding and retention.  Due to his experience in this role Andrew managed the development of the Assistant Account Manager training program and formalized the process for all new hires.

His success and personal development led him into becoming an Account Manager with the Axis Group in 2014. As an Account Manager, Andrew supports and facilitates the introduction of employee leasing and Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) programs to agency partners across the country.  He also trains all of the new Assistant Account Managers and ensures their development and growth within the organization.

In 2015, Andrew left the Axis Group to pursue his 2-20 and 2-15 insurance licenses and began work as an independent salesman for Aflac and Colonial.  He gained additional market knowledge and insight working for a carrier.  In 2017, an unbelievable opportunity opened back with the Axis Group to help spearhead the creation of a new underwriting department.  His responsibilities now include the training and development of new underwriters and providing the Account Managers with the support necessary to continue the education of our agency partners.

In December of 2013 Andrew graduated from the University of South Florida’s College of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management

A life-long resident of the Tampa Bay area, Andrew graduated from Tampa Jesuit High School in 2008 where he was the captain of the swim team and first developed his passion for community involvement.  He enjoys teaching swim lessons to kids, helping his old swim coaches coach their current teams and volunteering to lifeguard for various charitable organizations.  Andrew is also involved in multiple local organizations such as the Lowry Park Zoo, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and the Florida Aquarium.
